Blade is owned by Maureen Clark and lives in Crib Point with Maureen’s three sons and two Border Collies. He has a fabulous temperament and is much loved part of the Clark family.
Blade first competed in obedience at four months of age in the Frankston Inter Club day and was placed Second out of eleven pups up to the age of 12 months, scoring 82/90.
His second club competition was at five and a half months which he won with a score of 88/90 and was awarded First Place for Highest Scoring Member with 97.7%. At his third competition at the age of seven months he again won the ring. Blade took out the 2001 Club Champion for highest overall performance.
At ten months he entered his first VCA trial and won the Encouragement ring with a score of 121/130 at the Dobermann Restricted Obedience Trial.
Blade obtained his CD title in May 2002 and passed his Working Aptitude Certificate in November 2002. He is currently on 84 championship points towards gaining his champion title and the all important “Register of Merit” (ROM) - the highly sort after award in the Dobermann world.
